Sustainable Supply Chain Policy

Enchem Co., Ltd. implements supply chain management practices aligned with the EU Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD), the EU Battery Regulation, and the OECD Due Diligence Guidance. We are committed to achieving sustainable business through the strict accountability and active compliance of all employees across our value chain.

  1. Establish and Implement Sypply Chain Due Diligence Policy
    • We establish and implement supply chain due diligence policies in compliance with international regulations and global standards as defined by the EU CSDDD, OECD DDG, and EUBR.
    • Special attention is paid to operations in Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas(CAHRAs)to ensure the respect of human rights and the protection of the environment.
  2. Risk Identification and Assessment

    We identify, assess, and continuously monitor risks in our supply chain in accordance with the categories require under OECD DDG Annex II and EU Battery Regulation Annex X.

    • Human Righits Violations : torture, forced labor, child labor, war crimes
    • Environmental Risks : air, water and soil pollution, biodiversity degradation
    • Labor Rights Violations : health and occupational safety risks
    • Community Rights : community destruction, land use rights violations infringement of indigenous peoples’rights
    • Ethical Misconduct : corruption, anti-competitive behavior, money laundering
    • Transparency Risks and Other Social Issues
  3. Collaboration and Capacity Building
    • We support our suppliers through training programs and capacitybuilding activities to ensure compliance with international regulations and ENCHEM’s sustainability standards.
    • We collaborate with suppliers to enhance risk awareness, unduerstanding of sustainability, and set improvement targets to raise overall suppy chain sustainability performance.
  4. Information Disclosure and Stakeholder Engagement
    • We establish a system to regularly and accurately collect information from suppliers to strengthen transpatency.
    • Upon request by relevant stakeholders, we disclose information regarding our DD policy, risk assessment and mitigation measures.
  5. Policy Review and continuous Improvement
    • We periodically review and update this Policy to ensure its effectiveness and relevance.
    • Through continuous monitoring and improvement, we strive to minimize the social and environmental impacts across our supply chain and create long-term sustainable value.

Responsible Minerals Policy

ENCHEM is committed to responsible sourcing of minerals in compliance with internationally recognized standards on human rights, environmental protection, and business ethics. We aim to prevent risks of human rights abuses, armed group financing, and environmental destruction that may arise in Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas

    We comply with the OECD DDG, the RMI standards, the RBA Code of Conduct, and the EUBR.

    We have established accessible reporting channels to allow any stakeholder to raise concerns and we implement investigations and corrective actions accordingly

    We monitor regulations and issues related to newly identified high-risk minerals and continuously improve oure policy

  5. Transparent Information Disclosure

    We commit to disclosing our responsible minerals policy and related information to relevant stakeholders request
